01 Stripes

It is about playing around with that which is at hand, available, here. The stuff that lays around and wants to be used, given back into life, deeper - it is about searching for a meaning of the stuff thrown away. I was given some old small canvases left over at a childrens workshop. With the years of streching my own canvases I collected a lot of small stripes of cut away pieces. I found in the closet some old crayons from childhood. All these together, coincidentaly, somewhere in a corner. Adding a little bit of attention; time + imagination = a series of small paintings with stripes.
